Dr. Heidi Heron leads both programmes: the full seven days of NLP Level 1 Practitioner, from the opening keynote on Day 1 to supervised practitioner practice on Day 7, and the three days of NLP Coaching Foundation.
Heidi has trained NLP since 2001. She is co-owner and Principal Trainer of the Worldwide Institutes of NLP, alongside co-trainer Laureli Blyth. Together they run NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainer certification programmes in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK and the USA, and design customised training for schools, organisations and government agencies.
She has also served the NLP Association of Australia, the independent body overseeing NLP training standards in Australia, as Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, and today as Vice Chairman.
Before and alongside training, Heidi worked in human resources and operations management, and she still coaches individuals one to one, helping them work through stuckness, fear and anxiety and build a life on their own terms.

NLP Coaching Foundation

A separate, shorter programme: the core of NLP applied to leadership, sales, customer conversations and coaching. Book it on its own, or as the second half of the bundle if you're new to NLP.
- Understand the mind at work: how the conscious and unconscious mind work, and the NLP presuppositions and Human Communication Model.
- Know your own patterns: identify your beliefs, values and behaviours, understand emotional triggers, and set goals as Well-Formed Outcomes.
- Communicate and build rapport: representational systems, sensory acuity, eye accessing cues, and Meta Model and Milton Model language.
- Create change: anchor positive states, integrate parts, use timeline techniques, and reframe limiting beliefs and behaviours.
- Influence and perform: model excellence, use motivation strategies, and build confidence and resilience.
- Apply it Monday morning: NLP in leadership and management, sales, customer service and negotiation, and coaching conversations, with workplace case studies.
- Leave with an action plan for your workplace and personal life, after personal reflection and feedback and a competency assessment.

NLP Level 1 Practitioner

Neuro-Linguistic Programming looks at how thoughts, emotions, beliefs and behaviours shape the results we get, and gives you practical techniques to change them.
Over seven days you'll learn to notice what's really happening in a conversation, build rapport with people who think nothing like you, use language with precision, and work with your own patterns, so change lasts beyond Monday morning.
This isn't a talk you sit through. You'll practise every technique, in pairs and in groups, with feedback, from Day 1.
By Day 7, you'll be able to:
- Explain the core concepts of NLP and where they apply at work.
- Read a room. Sharpen your sensory acuity to notice what people are showing you, not just what they're saying.
- Build rapport with people whose thinking and communication style differ from yours.
- Ask better questions using the Meta Model and Milton Model language patterns.
- Reframe limiting beliefs and behaviours, your own first, to improve performance.
- Manage your state, so you respond instead of react.
- Design change with proven processes: Swish, Anchoring, Circle of Excellence, SCORE Model.

Questions people ask
Are these two separate programmes?
Yes. NLP Level 1 Practitioner (7 days, 1–7 May 2027) and NLP Coaching Foundation (3 days, 10–12 May 2027) are separate programmes, and each can be booked on its own. Coaching Foundation is for NLP Practitioners. New to NLP? Take Level 1 on its own, or both as the bundle.
I trained with Heidi before. Which should I book?
NLP Coaching Foundation. It's built for people who already hold NLP Practitioner certification, so you can book it on its own: 10–12 May 2027, early bird RM 7,200 (standard RM 9,000), HRD Corp claimable.
What do I save with the bundle?
At early bird, the bundle is RM 18,000 instead of RM 20,700 for the two early bird tickets bought separately. That is RM 2,700 saved, and 25% off the RM 24,000 standard price.
Do I need any NLP experience?
Not for Level 1 Practitioner: it starts at the foundations and builds from there. Coaching Foundation is for NLP Practitioners, so take it after Level 1 (the bundle does exactly that) or if you already hold an NLP Practitioner certification.
Is this only for people in HR or training?
No. The programmes are built for executives, managers, team leaders, HR and L&D, sales and customer-facing teams, and emerging leaders.
How much is practice versus presentation?
The programme uses trainer presentations and demonstrations, then experiential exercises, paired and group practice, reflection and feedback throughout. Day 7 of Level 1 is dedicated to supervised practitioner practice.
Is it HRD Corp claimable?
Yes. Both programmes and the bundle are HRD Corp claimable.
Can we pay in instalments?

Can I send a colleague instead if I can't come?
Yes, for a valid reason. Level 1 Practitioner needs notice by 17 April 2027, and Coaching Foundation by 26 April 2027.
Should I book Level 1 Practitioner, Coaching Foundation, or both?
New to NLP? Start with Level 1 Practitioner: seven days of deeper, supervised practice. Coaching Foundation is three days for NLP Practitioners on using NLP in leadership, sales and coaching conversations. Many people will want both, and the bundle is priced for that.
What if I'm the only one from my company?
You're welcome. The standard and early bird single-participant rates apply.
What if I need to cancel or can't attend?
Send a colleague in your place, for a valid reason: notify us by 17 April 2027 for Level 1 Practitioner, or 26 April 2027 for Coaching Foundation. Cancellations get a 25% refund before 1 April 2027 (Level 1) or 10 April 2027 (Coaching Foundation), and no refund after. All changes in writing to hello@lynch-pin.com.
